Five STEM Subjects

In view of the fact that it is a STEM institution, every student who gains admission is expected to do one STEM subject including:

  • Computing (Computer Science)
  • Biomedical Science
  • Engineering Science
  • Robotic Science
  • Aviation & Aerospace

We admit students based on the above-named STEM subjects. Since every student who enters the four-walls of the school does pure science, we admit the students using the STEM subjects to bring some distinctions. It must be emphasized that the five STEM subjects stated above are NOT programs. They are individual subjects. We use the 5-STEM subjects to identify the students as though they are programs. So, we have Biomedical Science Students, Engineering Science Students and Robotic Science Students etc. As such, in completing your school selection form, you will have to select one of the five STEM subjects which you want your ward to study here. For instance, when you choose Biomedical Science, it means your ward will study pure science in addition to Biomedical Science. The five STEM subjects are NOT programs—they are individual subjects.

Key Point:

The STEM subject chosen during school selection CANNOT be changed for your ward. So, when you are selecting the STEM subject, I urge you to deeply reflect on the aspiration of your ward, what he/she wants to do in the future

Example: Select Biomedical Science if your ward wants to pursue the following at the university:

  • Medical program
  • Physician assistant program
  • Nursing
  • Laboratory Technician course
